Description of the business
Sierra Rutile Limited is a mining company with operations in the Republic of Sierra Leone. The Group is one of the country's largest employers and produces three commodities, rutile and ilmenite, for use in industrial applications.

Board Committees
The Directors have established an audit committee, a governance committee and a nomination and remuneration committee. The audit committee is chaired by Dr. Entrekin and consists of Mr. Barton and Mr. Colette, all Non-Executive Directors.  The governance committe is chaired by Dr. Entrekin and comprises Mr. Colette and Mr. Castro, all Non-Executive Directors.  The nomination and remuneration committee is chaired by Mr. Barton and comprises Mr. Kamara and Mr. Colette, all Non-Executive Directors. 

Additionally a strategic review committe has been set up to assess the stratecic review.  The strategic review committe is chaired by Mr. Brown and consists of Mr. Castro, Mr. Entrekin and Mr. Kamara, all Non-Executive Directors.
