Infrastructure

SRL has invested considerable sums in refurbishing and expanding the infrastructure that support the Sierra Rutile mine. The Group owns and operates a recently commissioned state-of-the-art powerhouse, port facilities (including a seaport, push boats and barges), water reticulation facilities, and provides furnished accommodations, recreational and mess facilities for intermediate and senior staff. In addition, there is a local airport and road system to Freetown.
